No invented reviews, ratings, or counts
We do not write reviews of ourselves, we do not commission them, and we do not generate them. We do not publish a star rating, a review count, a number of customers served, or a number of years in business unless that figure is real and we can evidence it.
The Federal Trade Commission rule on consumer reviews and testimonials prohibits fake and AI-generated reviews, reviews by insiders presented as independent, and the suppression of negative reviews. We treat that as the floor rather than the target.
Why there is no review widget on this site
Two reasons. The first is technical: embedded review widgets load third-party JavaScript, which slows every page they appear on and passes visitor data to a company the visitor did not choose to deal with.
The second is that a widget makes it easy to display a rating without anyone checking where it came from. Where we publish reviews they are rendered into the page at build time from a dated export, with a link to the original profile so you can verify them yourself.
Structured data
We do not emit aggregateRating or review markup in our structured data. Our build fails if that markup appears, because it is the easiest place for an unsupported rating to end up in a search result. If we later publish verifiable reviews, the markup will reflect exactly what is visible on the page.
Incentives and disclosure
We do not offer discounts, entries into prize draws, or any other consideration in exchange for a review. If that ever changes, the incentive will be disclosed clearly wherever those reviews appear.
Negative reviews
We do not ask platforms to remove negative reviews, and we do not filter a review feed to show only favourable ones. If we get something wrong we would rather it were visible along with what we did about it.
