What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the name, phone number, ZIP code, water source, property type, and service need you provide, plus an optional email address and message. The form also records the page you submitted from, the city page slug where applicable, and any UTM campaign parameters present in the URL.
If you call us, our telephony provider records the calling number, the time, and the duration of the call, and which tracking number you dialled. That last item tells us which page or campaign led to the call.
We do not use advertising trackers or social media pixels on this site.
Analytics cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It sets
first-party cookies, beginning _ga, which distinguish one visitor from
another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. Those cookies typically last up
to two years.
Google Analytics collects the pages you view, roughly when and for how long, the site or search that referred you, and technical details such as device type, browser, screen size, and approximate location derived from your IP address. In Google Analytics 4 the IP address is not logged or stored by Google.
Google acts as our processor for this, and data is transmitted to and stored on Google infrastructure, which may include servers outside your state or country. We do not have Google Signals or advertising personalisation enabled, so this data is not used to build cross-site advertising profiles and it is not linked to Google advertising identifiers.
You can opt out. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies for a specific site, and Google publishes a browser add-on that prevents Analytics from collecting data at all. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are honoured as an opt-out of any sharing. Blocking these cookies does not affect the enquiry form or any other part of the site.
Call recording
We do not record calls. Connecticut and Pennsylvania both require the consent of every party to a recorded call, so if that ever changes you will be told at the start of the call and this page will be updated before it begins.
Text messages
The SMS consent box on our form is separate, unchecked by default, and not required in order to submit. Ticking it means you agree to receive appointment and service messages at the number you provided, including messages sent by an autodialer. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything. If you do not tick the box we will still contact you by phone or email about your enquiry.
Who processes your data
The enquiry form is submitted to a third-party form processing service, which passes the submission to us by email. Telephone numbers and call routing are handled by our telephony provider. Both act as processors on our behalf and are bound to use the data only to deliver that service.
The form is not currently accepting submissions, and the processor will be named here before it is enabled.
The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub receives the standard request information any web server receives, including your IP address, in order to serve the page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work carried out are kept for as long as we may need them for warranty, insurance, or tax purposes, and in most cases that is seven years. Call logs are retained for 12 months.
Your rights
Residents of New Jersey under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, of Connecticut under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and of other states with comparable law have the right to confirm whether we hold personal data about them, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and profiling with legal effect.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for automated profiling or any decision that has a legal effect on you. Our use of Google Analytics is for measurement only, with advertising features and Google Signals switched off.
New York residents are covered by the SHIELD Act, which requires us to maintain reasonable safeguards for private information. Pennsylvania consumer privacy law is developing, and where a comprehensive state statute is in force we will apply the same rights to Pennsylvania residents.
To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page. We will respond within the period the applicable statute requires, which is 45 days in most cases. If we decline a request we will explain why and how to appeal.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the foot of this page. If a change affects how we use information already collected, we will say so here rather than relying on the date alone.
